Marisa Miller is the brand new NFL spokesperson: As part of the campaign, Miller will appear in print and tv commercials for the NFL. Her contract is through the 2011 Super Bowl. She is apparently a “SuperFan,” and is a lifelong fan of the 49ers. The first advertising campaign photo shoot has already been taken, and her first print ads will appear soon.

Many are puzzled as to why the NFL has chosen a model to be its spokesperson? What with the issues the NFL is having with women lately including the Brett Farve scandal and the Ines Sainz locker room issues. Perhaps the NFL is trying to prove that it is a women friendly environment. So far the Farve issues and the Sainz issues make it look like it is not the best place for a woman to work.

Hopefully they will turn it around with Marisa Miller as the new NFL spokesperson. They have a chance to prove that they can work well with women.
